As in the past, our main focus in covering Elvis' material is to present some of the more obscure songs that he's done ...and perhaps widen the scope of what people PERCEIVE that he did. Many of Elvis' movie songs, for example, were actually GOOD! And much of his Gospel music went unnoticed even though no one could do the spiritual stuff better then he. With MORE ELVIS PLEASE, Jim performs Elvis songs that you might DISCOVER, rather than re-visit. He believes it is more entertaining and much less repetitive than the usual Elvis tribute. As an Elvis Tribute Recording Artist, his aim is to REFLECT Elvis, NOT IMITATE. Jim wants to REMIND you of the gifted, diverse artist that Presley was. So if we bring him back even just a little ...if we recapture some of the magic that made him so unique ...then we will be happy.
